Light at the end of the tunnel...finally

Yes... in exactly 4 days I will be an official graduate of BYU-I.  It couldn't be more perfect timing too, I got to be here for the beautiful fall and leaving just in time to skip the awful Idaho winters.  All in all I'd say it's been a pretty good experience haha.  I have so many memories here and it will be different transitioning from the student stage to the grown-up stage and I must admit I don't know if I am all that excited about it.  But alas what can you do??  It is finally time for me to start acting like a grown-up...maybe :) I don't know if I ever fully will lol.
I have done a lot this semester though.  I will give you a little synopsis of it.... :) The dance company had 5 shows, 2 at the middle school where we danced in front of over 800 students, and 3 in the Kirkham.  Everything was just so amazing and perfect for my last time being on it.  I don't mean to brag... okay I do.... but I'm going to do it anyway hehe.  For the opening dance I had a couple of lead positions, one doing a backflip front and center!  That's right.  I was also in a special footwork's number, and the lead in an African piece.  I was in almost every other dance and it was so exhilarating and such an adrenaline rush.... gah I loved it!
While we are on the subject of dance.... I was asked by a couple of friends to be in a piece they were putting together for Battle of the Dance.  Lo and behold it was a Latin number they wanted me in....I definitely do not consider myself a ballroom dancer but I felt honored they wanted me a part of it.  So we made it past auditions and got into Battle of the Dance where we had an awesome show.  After the show the audience votes for the top 2 dances they liked the most to be in the Best Of show the following weekend....and we got voted to be in it!!!!  So my for last semester I got to be in 3 big productions, 2 of which I had never been in.  Okay I am done bragging now.
The next item on the agenda is Thanksgiving.  Lindsay's family rented a cabin and invited Luke and I to come.  It was so cute!  It was this little log cabin that had horses!  So adorable.  We fed the horses, had a DELICIOUS dinner, and played Just Dance on the Wii.  We stayed the night there and then headed to Pocatello to meet up with Luke's brother Cody to go up to Seattle for the weekend.  It was a lot of driving but the trip was fun.  I was able to meet a couple of Luke's friends who are in BYU Vocal Point that was just on the Sing Off on TV.  So cool.  Anyways now I am just trying to focus on finals and getting everything wrapped up before I head home to Wisco on Sunday.

Waiting backstage for the opening number to start....oh how I miss the butterflies!

Waiting again....to go out into the middle school gymnasium.  We felt like rock stars with how loud the kids were screaming!!
