All About Us

 The first time I saw Luke, I thought to myself, "Wow, he's really cute."

It was the summer of 2011.  I was one of the directors for the Collegiate Dance Company.  For the first time in the dance department history, the three Collegiate teams - Ballroom, World, and Contemporary - were combined into one company.  Lucky for me they decided to do that...because that is how we met.

We started dating on June 29th and on December 29th (my birthday), Luke asked me to be with him for time and all eternity, right on Friendship Bridge in Menasha, WI.  It was a beautiful moment that I wish I could have frozen in time, which I almost could have because it was FREEZING!!  Picture a bitter winter night in Wisconsin ;)

On April 14th, 2012 we were sealed in the Denver, Colorado LDS Temple.  The same temple my parents were sealed in, and my sister and her husband.  It was very special.

{It was really cold, but I was so happy}

Today we are enjoying every minute of our lives together.  We have agreed that neither one of us wants to leave the "honeymoon phase".  And why should we?  We are in love and love to show it to each other.  He still gives me butterflies when I feel his touch, or when he gives me that quirky smile of his -  which means he is thinking of me and wants me to feel his love even from all the way across the room.
He is one of the best things that has ever happened to me.

On April 21, 2014 we celebrated the birth of our little girl, Charlotte Hope Phillips.

November 19, 2017 we welcomed Evan Luke Phillips.

On March 10, 2020 Grayson Harvey Phillips joined our family and made us a family of five!

And last. but not least! Porter Smith Phillips completed our family on February 6, 2023.

We are overwhelmed with happiness, gratitude, and love.
