Grayson's Blessing Day

Grayson Harvey Phillips was blessed by his father Luke Phillips, accompanied by his grandfather Vance Smith on Sunday, April 26, 2020 in our home at 2917 Magnolia Ave, Grand Junction, CO.

He cried during most of it, but the Spirit was strong and love filled the walls of our home.

Our Dear Heavenly Father, by the authority of the Melchizedek priesthood, which we hold, and in the name of Jesus Christ we give this child a name and a blessing.  The name we shall give him is Grayson Harvey Phillips.  Grayson, we now give unto you a blessing.  A blessing which comes from your Heavenly Father.  A blessing full of love and peace and hope.  We bless you with the ability to go throughout your life with the courage necessary to withstand evil, to be a light to shine bright for all the world to see.  A light of influence, of positivity and hope.  We bless you, Grayson with this ability that comes from your Heavenly Father as you rely on Him and the Spirit to guide you.  Grayson we bless you to be able to grow  in both body and spirit, and in mind in order to be able to further the Kingdom of God on earth and we bless you with the spiritual strength to withstand evil.  We bless you with the ability to serve a full time mission along with your brother.  We bless you to be able to heal the hearts of many, whether that be physically or spiritually.  We bless you with the constant companion of the Holy Ghost, as you strive to do what's right and partake of the ordinances necessary to do that.  We bless you with the ability to find a companion, someone worthy where you both will be able to go to the temple and start your own family.  We bless you to take courage in these trying times and in this trying world and find hope and positivity in all that you do, and we say this in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
