Newly wedded bliss

I know I know.....I stink at keeping this blog updated.  But I have been super busy, loving the married life :)  Luke and I were married on April 14th, 2012 in the Denver, CO Temple and are now back in Rexburg - him attending school and me working.  Here is the past few months in a nutshell....
After the wedding and an AWESOME reception put together by so many wonderful people, we started our way on our new life together, a.k.a. our honeymoon ;)  The first night we just stayed in Aurora, CO and Sunday made the long drive to Jackson Hole, WY.  Can I pahleeeees go back??  It was so wonderful.  The weather was gorgeous and since it was during an off season we were pretty much the only people in town.  Luke kept where exactly we were staying a surprise.  It ended up being a 4 star resort called the Rustic Inn.  We had our own lodge which was AMAZING, and when I say amazing, I mean absolutely fantastic.  We had the biggest comfiest bed ever along with a big screen  TV, a bathroom to die for, and the most delicious free buffet-style breakfasts in the world! Did I mention we also had an outdoor heated pool, hot tub and sauna all to ourselves?  Oh and a really cool exercise facility.....which I did not use.  Ha.  We walked everywhere through this cute western town, ate at a really good Thai place called Thai Me Up haha,  rented The Three Musketeers (which was hilarious) and ordered pizza then watched it on our awesome TV in our awesome bed, bought a "souvenir" (a cracked wooden basket lol) that now is a candy bowl - and a reminder of the wonderful times we had in JH, and explored old antique shops (one of our favorite things to do).  Can't wait to go back there for another "mini"moon :)
Sadly though it all had to come to an end so Luke could get back to school.  We are now in Rexburg and I have enjoyed making a home out of our first home together.  Luke is doing so good in his classes, I'm so proud of him, and I recently started teaching at Henry's Fork Elementary School in the special needs class - I love it so much.
Here are some pictures to help you see whats been going on.

Formals - Juli McKendrick is AMAZING!  Also a HUGE thank you to Laura Power for her excellent assistant skills
