I'm am thrilled to say that I am finally at my halfway point! Only 20-ish more weeks to go! I can't believe it. Nor can I believe Thanksgiving is already over! November went by so fast, which I am grateful for. One month closer to meeting this little bean.
For Thanksgiving we headed down to Kuna, ID to visit the in-laws. It was so fun and relaxing. Went shooting, walking, to the temple, out to eat, and to one of my favorites - Deseret Book! I love that store and have felt deprived of it since living in Washington. It was much needed and well worth the drive. I was hardly sick too!
My handsome man
For the update on baby Phillips:
How far along: 20 weeks - halfway!
Size of baby: Baby P is about the size of a banana. My banana weighs 11 oz and is measuring a long femur and humerus, so long limbs. Baby P is also measuring in the 87th percentile for size! I'm thinking I'm gonna have a big baby!
Total weight gain/loss: 15 big ones! Yikes.
Maternity clothes: Ooooh yeah. I think I need more shirts though cause all mine are starting to look like belly shirts on me!
Stretch marks: Surprisingly not yet!
Sleep: Great! I hardly even get up to go to the bathroom anymore.
Best moment(s) last week: Got to get out of this house and go to my beloved Idaho for Thanksgiving, found out the gender of my baby, and got a free jogging stroller!
Movement: Definitely! Luke only feels it every now and then, but this baby likes to kick and dance.
Food cravings: I get asked this a lot and I have no idea what to say. I have strong cravings, but no one thing has lasted throughout my entire pregnancy. It changes weekly. This past week has been salad. I can't get enough of it!
Gender: Girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No one was more surprised than me. I was sooooo sure it was a boy and was in disbelief the entire day I found out. I'm ecstatic! Luke's cousin gave me some baby clothes and there were a couple puffy, girly dresses! I'm in love!!!!
Labor signs: No.
Belly button - in or out: In still.
What I miss: I miss the gym at BYU-Idaho and getting a good sweat going. With this being my first I get nervous as to what I can safely do as far as working out. So low-impact workouts is all I've been doing so far.
What I am looking forward to: Meeting this sweet little girl! I get all emotional every time I see pictures of newborns and can't wait for the day I finally get to see her face to face.
Milestones: I'm not as sick anymore THANK GOODNESS! Instead of feeling miserable everyday, now it's just every other or every couple of days and its not as severe as it was in the beginning. I feel like I can finally start to enjoy my pregnancy.
