A blessing for Lottie

Given by her father, Luke Kasse Phillips:

Our Father in heaven, by the authority of the Melchizedek priesthood which we hold, we give this child a name and a blessing.  The name by which she shall be known is Charlotte Hope Phillips.  Charlotte we give you this blessing, a blessing of faith and hope and love.  I bless you physically, that you might be able to perform the functions and responsibilities necessary to further the kingdom of God.  I bless you spiritually that you will be strong, that you will have a close connection to your Father in heaven.  We bless you with the strength to help others in need that you might be able to see clearly and discern what others need.  We bless you with patience, we bless you with kindness, towards your family members, and towards your friends.  We bless you with the strength and desire to serve the Lord.  Overall Charlotte we bless you to be happy in a trying world that you might be a light to others.  We bless you with all these blessings and all those that Heavenly Father has in store for you.  We do so in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

So many people came out to support and celebrate with us.  We love our Charlotte so much and feel eternally grateful that she is a part of our family.
